I got the amber lenses and couldn't be happier. The tint is dark enough to block out some of the sun but not so dark that it hinders vision. The polarized lenses do a great job on the glare. The frame is just plastic, but it has the perfect amount of flexibility to allow ease of use and movement. I've always preferred the partial rim glasses that allow full range of peripheral vision and these offer that perfectly.
The bridge supports are rubber, which I prefer to plastic (plastic tends to get sweaty for me). These wrap around the face about perfectly for me, but aren't too close. For some they may actually think they look a bit wide because they wrap around without hugging the face too tightly. And very importantly for high-energy active use is that they have a 'vent' of sorts between the lenses and the frame so that they don't fog up when sweating.
The bottom line is these are the perfect sunglasses for me.

BalasHapusI am loving my OAKLEY FRINGE SUNGLASSES! I purchased mine at a GOLF/SPORTS STORE for their sale price of $99 a few months ago and I have no regrets. The style is somewhat retro, just like those fashionable 'wayfarers' except these are even bigger. These sunglasses fit my face perfectly and they're pretty lightweight, so they feel great when I am wearing them. Mine are the CRYSTAL TURQUOISE with BLACK LENS -- they are awesome! However, the stock photo here on AMAZON shows the TURQUOISE color as a lighter bluish-greenish color but these are deeper or richer colored blue-green, not as transluscent as the stock photo. I've received a couple of compliments by strangers how they like these sunglasses. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
